I fell in love with writing as a kid, scribbling stories in notebooks and interviewing the kids on my street. That curiosity led me to become a youth reporter for a local magazine in middle school, always eager to learn more about the world around me. My passion deepened in my first journalism class with Lane Williams, PhD, where I heard him describe journalism as a calling. I write to share stories that connect people, spark curiosity, and leave a lasting impression
